The Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce the acquisition of brand-new firefighter turnout gear, including helmets, coats, pants, and boots. This essential safety equipment was obtained through the generous support of the V-FIRE grant program.
This new gear ensures our firefighters have the highest level of protection, enabling them to perform their duties safely and effectively when responding to emergencies. We extend our sincere gratitude to the V-FIRE grant program for their commitment to firefighter safety and our community. The V-FIRE grant is offered through NYS. Additionally, we want to extend a big thank you to Garrett Fransen and Dennis Rodriguez from NY Fire Equipment LLC. Lastly, thank you to our village board: mayor, trustees, and village clerk for all their time in writing for the grant.
