Chicken BBQ Fundraiser Event

WE BROUGHT BACK OUR CHICKEN BBQ!

Many thanks to the hundreds of supporters who joined us on Sunday, July 28 for our chicken barbecue cooked by Chiavetta’s and your very own Bemus Point Fire members.

Thank also to the generous donors who purchased tickets and donated meal(s) to the UCAN City Mission, who distributed the meals locally to those in need. Thank you for supporting your local fire department.

The NYSAFC FIRE 2019 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-2001. Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and that the world knows that we will never forget.

The proceeds of these events help the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation create and maintain programs that support fire service survivors. Your support of the 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb events provides assistance to the surviving families and co-workers of the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Open House + Extrication Demo

EVENT UPDATE: During our open house on May 4 (10A-2P) as part of Bemus Point Springfest, we will be simulating a vehicle rollover with a single operator being pinned inside. The public will be able to watch the Fire Department assess hazards, stabilize the vehicle, and extricate the patient from the mangled vehicle. The demo will continue until the patient is loaded into the ambulance. The public will then be able to see the aftermath of the operation.

The extrication demo is graciously sponsored by Townline Auto, a continuous supporter of our efforts!
